Everything that ESV does is based on real embedded devices. Occasionally we may jam a whole bunch of concepts onto a single piece of hardware, but everything we do has an authentic analog in the real world.

Embedded Systems Village (ESV) is operated by Hacking Villages Inc, a US based 501c3 charity whose mission is to educate the public about certain cyber security issues and technologies, including to develop and present free educational content and trainings at cybersecurity conferences held in the United States, Canada and internationally.
ESV’s goal is to develop and provide training on how embedded systems work, how to analyze their hardware components, how to identify vulnerabilities, and how to prevent cyberattacks on these systems. In addition, ESV will offer a platform to embedded system security experts and researchers to demonstrate and amplify the reach of their research and work to advance the security of embedded systems through dedicated space at cybersecurity conferences, as well as through the ESV’s website and social media.
